Well, one thing I can’t disagree with – they definitely picked the right name! This is one of the most extreme weight loss systems I have ever seen; extreme in what they promise, and also extreme in what you have to do to get there. Of course, extreme – even crazy – diets are nothing new. What is unusual, however, is that this one actually works! I know, there are so many fake diets and scams out there, I was starting to get a bit disillusioned, and to be honest I wasn’t even going to try this one, but then I figured what the heck – they offer a 60 day money back guarantee, and the whole program only takes 25 days, so why not give it a try?
Just in case you’re not already familiar with it, I’ll sum up what they’re offering. This is Joel Marrion’s Xtreme Fat Loss Diet, and their claim to fame is that you can lose 25 lbs in 25 days, with no rebound weight gain when you stop.
Now I’ve been doing this for a while, and there are a few things that consistently come up; namely that you shouldn’t lose more then two pounds each week, and that if you do, a rebound is inevitable. Then along comes this Joel guy and claims it’s all wrong. Well, you aren’t the first, Joel, and you certainly won’t be the last! Turns out though, that this is actually a bit of a deception on his part. His system doesn’t actually give you a consistent weight loss of 25lbs every 25 days, because it is so extreme (there’s that word again) that your body can’t maintain it for long. So once you finish the 25 days, that’s it for the next month or two while your system recovers. I can see good and bad sides to this though – on the one hand, you don’t keep losing weight (which is bad), but on the other you get all your weight loss out of the way quickly, which is great if you’re in a hurry.
Of course, promises are well and good, but how does the system actually perform? He’s got plenty of testimonials on his site, saying wonderful things, but I can’t help but feel that maybe they were, how can I put this, selected with great care… The Xtreme Fat Loss Diet will make you lose weight, guaranteed, if you can stick to it! Despite the fact that it only lasts 25 days, those are a looong 25 days, and it takes a lot of commitment to make it to the end. I can’t say for sure whether you would really lose 25lbs if you do though, because I, um, didn’t. Fear not, however: even if you give up half way, you will still lose weight!
In conclusion, I give this 4 out of 5 stars. It’s based on sound nutritional principles, and works like crazy, but is probably a little too tough (think “boot camp” and you’re not far off) for the average person.
If you decide you want to give it a try, or just want to learn a little more about the program, go ahead and click this elegant and finely crafted link.
